Curiosity-Driven Learning in Any Classroom: Three Easy Moves for Increasing Student Engagement in School and Online (At ASCD Conference)

Description
With so much learning done online and away from the classroom, it is more important than ever for teachers to motivate and engage students while promoting active learning and deep thinking. In this interactive session, we will explore some of the most common challenges associated with at-home learning—and the practical ways all teachers can address them. More specifically, participants will experience and acquire instructional tools that they can use right away to help students become more self-directed learners, engage with rigorous content, and develop essential “big picture” thinking skills.
