Together, Jay and Harvey will show you how to raise student achievement and close learning gaps by establishing a deep learning culture—one that teaches all students the skills they need to build deep understanding of important content and transfer their learning to the real world. 

Sessions Overview

SESSION ONE FOCUS: How to frame learning around core concepts and essential questions. 

SESSIONS TWO AND THREE FOCUS: Practical and proven tools that promote deep understanding of classroom content and develop critical thinking skills needed for real-world success. All tools modeled during the session are widely applicable across grade levels and content areas and easy to integrate into current lessons and units. 

SESSION FOUR FOCUS: How to “put it all together”: Designing lessons, units, and curriculum sequences that ensure deep learning. 

This innovative online academy will include breakout sessions and opportunities to design lessons collaboratively.
